Suit Claims Property Owner Allowed Debris To Be Dumped Along Shoreline
VERMILION, Ohio -- The family of an 8-year-old Vermilion boy crushed to death by a 600-pound slab of concrete is filing a wrongful death lawsuit.
Dominic DePaul died on Jan. 2. He and his friends were on a rock pile behind a home his family was renting on Lake Erie . Some concrete came loose and fell on the boy.
The family believes the owner of the property allowed the debris to be dumped along the shoreline.
They are asking for $1 million in damages.
